1. Brief Description
Ferrosilicon is a multi-component alloy composed of iron and silicon. It is produced by smelting raw materials including silica (quartz), coke, and iron-bearing materials in an electric furnace through a carbothermic reduction reaction. Thanks to its powerful deoxidizing capability and alloying effects, ferrosilicon has become an indispensable auxiliary material in steelmaking and foundry processes-capable of both purifying molten steel and optimizing the mechanical properties of steel.
2. Products Description
Available grades vary by silicon content to meet diverse industrial requirements:
Standard Grades: FeSi 45%, FeSi 65%, FeSi 70%, FeSi 72%, FeSi 75%
Size Options: Lump (10–50mm, 10–100mm), Granular (1–3mm, 3–10mm), Powder, or as per customer request.
Packaging: Jumbo bags (1 MT), small bags (25 kg) on pallets, or bulk.
3. Products Description
Steel Deoxidizer: In the steelmaking process, the molten steel deoxidizer is used to remove excess dissolved oxygen from the molten steel. Through a powerful deoxidation reaction, it converts the oxygen into stable oxide slag that floats up and is eliminated, thereby avoiding casting defects such as porosity, pinholes, looseness, and cracks in the billet. It also reduces non-metallic inclusions to improve the cleanliness of the molten steel, ultimately ensuring the structural density and consistency of mechanical properties of the ingot or continuous casting billet.
Alloying Agent: Adds silicon to steel, enhancing its strength, hardness, elasticity, and magnetic properties.
Inoculant for Cast Iron: Promotes graphite nodulization and refines grain structure in ductile and grey iron castings.
Raw Material: Used in the production of electrode coatings, magnetic materials, and other ferroalloys.

4. Products Description
Ferrosilicon products offer exceptional process performance and quality advantages. They feature a high silicon recovery rate and stable chemical composition with minimal batch-to-batch variation, ensuring continuous and stable operation in steelmaking or foundry processes while reducing raw material consumption. The low content of harmful impurities (Al, P, S, C) minimizes non-metallic inclusions, improves molten steel cleanliness, and thereby enhances the toughness, weldability, and corrosion resistance of the finished steel. For different melting equipment and feeding processes, we provide flexible customized sizing solutions including lumps, granules, and powder to ensure smooth charging and uniform melting. In summary, this product increases the yield of qualified molten steel, reduces scrap rates, and optimizes the mechanical properties, surface quality, and internal density of finished steel, meeting the stringent requirements of high-end steel grades for purity and stability.
