What is Silicon Carbon Alloy?
Silicon Carbon Alloy is a new type of composite deoxidizer and alloying material, mainly composed of silicon (Si) and carbon (C), often combined with trace elements such as iron (Fe), calcium (Ca), or aluminum (Al) depending on the application. It is widely used in steelmaking, foundry, and other metallurgical processes as a cost-effective alternative to traditional ferrosilicon + carbon additives.
