1, Overview of Composite Manhole Cover

Composite manhole covers are mainly made of non-metallic materials such as glass fiber, resin, mineral powder, etc. Compared with traditional cast iron manhole covers, they have advantages such as anti-theft, corrosion resistance, lightweight, and environmental protection. They are widely used in municipal, communication, power, landscaping and other fields.

2, Technical parameters

Load bearing standard (according to GB/T 23858-2009 "Classification of manhole covers"):

A15 level: 15 kN (pedestrian walkway, green belt)

B125 level: 125 kN (motor vehicle lane, parking lot)

C250 level: 250 kN (heavy vehicle passage, such as ports and airports)

D400 level: 400 kN (for special high load areas such as freight terminals).

service life:

Generally, it can last for 15-20 years (cast iron manhole covers take about 10-15 years), resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, and does not require frequent replacement.

Physical performance:

Compressive strength: ≥ 50 MPa (B125 grade and above).

Bending strength: ≥ 22 MPa.

Temperature resistance range: -40 ℃~+70 ℃ (some high-performance resins can be extended to -60 ℃~+120 ℃).

Anti theft design: No recycling value, usually fixed with bolts or hinged structure.

Environmental friendliness:

The material is recyclable and the production energy consumption is over 60% lower than that of cast iron manhole covers.

Municipal roads:

Case: The main road renovation project in Chaoyang District, Beijing, uses B125 grade composite manhole covers to replace cast iron manhole covers, reducing theft losses by 80%.

Electric power communication:

Case: Communication manhole covers along Shenzhen Metro Line 5 use A15 grade composite manhole covers with good insulation performance to avoid signal interference.

Landscape:

Case: The West Lake Scenic Area in Hangzhou adopts a wood grain imitation composite manhole cover, which integrates with the natural environment and has a load-bearing capacity of A15 level.
