Silicon Carbon Briquette is a compressed metallurgical material made from a mix of silicon-rich alloy fines and carbonaceous materials such as coke powder or anthracite. These briquettes are crafted into uniform shapes-typically balls or pillow blocks-for easy handling and precise dosing during the steelmaking process.

 

Unlike pure ferro silicon or standard carbon additives, the briquette format improves melting performance while minimizing waste and dust. It's a smart way to repurpose alloy fines that would otherwise be discarded, creating both economic and environmental benefits
